Alexander Hay is a civil engineer specialising in infrastructure systems risk. He is Risk Resilience and Security Planning Leader at Southern Harbour and Adjunct Professor and Founding Director of Centre for Resilience of Critical Infrastructure at the University of Toronto, Canada. He has 35 years of international experience in infrastructure development in regions as diverse as the High Arctic, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia and has operated as consultant, contractor and client at the national to local level.
