The development of the Information Society has contributed to the accelerated use of personal data, which is inevitably under threat. Following the example of certain countries, Côte d'Ivoire has decided to take legislative measures to protect the personal data of its citizens. A legal framework has therefore been put in place, establishing not only a Data Protection Authority, but also the function of Personal Data Protection Correspondent.
