About the author
Marcos Pereda (Torrelavega, 1981) nació en el mismo sitio que Vicente Trueba y Óscar Freire, pero hasta ahí las comparaciones. También sale en bici con un maillot de Molteni, pero tampoco es Merckx, aunque se descuelga con gracia y clase. Por llano va justo pero cuesta arriba sufre y no perdona el pincho de tortilla. Ah, y después, cuando vuelve a casa, se pone a escribir. Firma cosas de bicis y otras que no van de ese deporte. De las últimas tiene un libro de relatos (Cuentos del Bar de la Medianoche) y una recopilación de leyendas cántabras (Cantabria. Tierra de leyendas). Sobre velocípedos... pues un montón: Arriva Italia, Periquismo, Bucle, Una pulga en la montaña o Rojos sobre ruedas, palomas en maillots. También exhibe mala baba y desconocimiento por publicaciones como Jot Down, Público, El Confidencial o Volata. Tiene un setter que se llama Rufo, una huerta con frutales y muy buen pelo.
