A pictorial exploration into how it feels to be lost, lonely, broken and damaged in a world designed for those who define success as something you can bank, and beauty as something you can see.

About the author

Paul Raggity was born in North Yorkshire, England, in a small town that stands defiantly between the windswept moors and the biting cold of the North Sea. By the time he was thirty he had begun sliding slowly down the country before eventually holing up in the cess pool of London. On the way he went to art school, played in various punk rock bands, produced a fanzine, wrote and photographed for several UK music/photography magazines and even self-published a book of short stories. These days he spends most of his time staring outward through dirty windows and inward into seeping black holes, contemplating life in general, and nothing in particular. The pictures contained within this book, often described as dark, grotesque and occasionally creepy, are a visual representation of this.
