About the author

Antonio Silva Esquinas holds a bachelor’s in criminology, extraordinary award (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), master’s in social and cultural anthropology (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia), and doctorate in anthropology and criminology (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia). He is a lecturer of criminology (Universidad Europea de Madrid), main methodologist, and ethnographer at Grupo Conocimiento-Investigación en Problemáticas Sociales.
Jorge Ramiro Pérez Suárez holds a bachelor’s in law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a master’s in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Edinburgh, and a doctorate in criminology from the University of Huddersfield. He is a senior lecturer in criminology applied to digital spaces at Universidad Europea de Madrid and a researcher at Grupo Conocimiento-Investigación en Problemáticas Sociales.
Raquel Rebeca Cordero Verdugo holds a bachelor’s in political science and sociology from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, postgraduate degree in politics and government (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia), and a doctorate in communication from the perspective of conflict (Universidad Europea de Madrid). She is a senior lecturer in applied sociology and a principal researcher at Grupo Conocimiento-Investigación en Problemáticas Sociales.
Julio Díaz Galán holds a bachelor’s in philosophy from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a doctorate in philosophy (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia). He is a senior lecturer in philosophical anthropology at Universidad Europea de Madrid and a researcher at Grupo Conocimiento-Investigación en Problemáticas Sociales.
