Ecuador is no stranger to violence, it is experienced daily and continues to increase over the years in various aspects of the country, this violence is more noticeable especially when talking about violence against women. The objective of this work is to analyze the exponential growth of femicides in the country in the last year, as well as to determine what are the consequences in the legal and social spheres as a result of gender violence in Ecuador.
