Cold War Fighter Pilots Songbook

The compilation of the book contains not all the songs Fighter Pilotssung during the Cold War era, but quiet a lot. The sourceswere exclusively my collection of unpublished SquadronSongbooks throughout the english speaking Fighter PilotsCommunity. They reflect the sheer emotions, the blackhumors of ill fated conflicts and the absence of womenduring their deployments. At the time the compilation ispublished, most of the songs are already banned from theSquadrons and O-Clubs and within short time they will beforgotten as a Social Squadron Part of a special Breed ofAviators during the 60s trough 90s.Some songs contain words, which were used only at the bar after some beer.

About the author

"Fortuna" flew fighter-bomber aircraft and was an instructor pilot for almost ten years. He collected "Fighter Pilot
Songs" as recordings (CD, Tapes), and the respective songbooks throughout his flying career.
