The articles presented here deal with the analysis of the symbolic world in its aspect of violence (and authority), as well as the effects that these can have as discriminatory in the social sphere. The categories of perception are historically conditioned, since the wefts of meaning and appreciation are dynamic and change, even within generations. Thus, the first two articles deal with the central concepts of hegemony and the constitution of social subjects, referring to Bourdieu, Foucault, Laclau and others, in order to characterize the phenomenon and place it in the light of this so-called risk society. The third article delves into the obsession with the body figure found in the new generations.
