This paper describes the use of pornography in the sexual relationships of young university students and how this use influences the generation of imaginaries, linguistic expressions and behaviors in their sexuality. From their testimonies outlined in in-depth interviews, it is related to the expressions of the content of pornographic material to find its influence. The study describes pornography from its nature as a cultural industry to the sexual behavior of young Ecuadorians and makes a cartography of the access to pornographic content in the city of Quito.

About the author










Carlos Daniel Bustos is from Quito and studied at the Faculty of Social Communication at the Central University of Ecuador. Since he was a teenager he has worked as a journalist in Radio, Press, Television and Internet. He has worked as a specialist in communication and marketing strategy with emphasis in Digital Sociology and Web Analytics.
