About the author
Ellen Radcliff, LMFT is a faithful Christian woman, wife, mother, and psychotherapist based in eastern North Carolina. Ellen is also same-sex attracted. While growing up in a Christian home, Ellen and her family had to navigate the nuances of her sexual orientation. She is now married to the love of her life and together they also have to navigate the unique realities of her sexual orientation and her past as a lesbian.
Ellen has a BA in interpersonal communication from East Carolina University and an MA in counseling from Harding School of Theology. For over 10 years she has walked alongside individuals, couples, and families, as they navigate the joys and difficulties of striving for sexual integrity.
Ellen serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Strength in Weakness Ministries, a para church organization that strives to bridge the gap between the LGBTQ+ community and God’s church through awareness, education, and support. She also provides help and healing for individuals in her psychotherapy practice in NC and offers education and connection to people through her consultation business, Heart Set Above. Ellen has taught audiences all over the world exhorting them to reclaim God’s intent for sex, sexuality, and gender while remaining steadfastly rooted in God’s love.
