Image in-painting is the technique used to retrieve the missing or damaged part of the image region and maintain the image quality. Nowadays, images are captured with the help of high- resolution cameras, and mobile phones with high megapixels are used. Processing of these high-resolution images becomes more complicated with traditional algorithms. Images are beneficial for encryption, processing, authentication, sharing, etc. Various mobile apps use image in-painting and are also used in social networking sites.
