The determination of an appropriate technique to better estimate the incidence of parasite eggs, in order to achieve a better understanding of sludge management, is fundamental to assess the environmental risk and indirectly the possible exposure of people to parasite eggs. The objective of this study was to determine the presence of helminth eggs in samples of raw and stabilised sludge from the Wastewater Treatment Plant of the municipality of Coronel.
