About the author










SAHANA PRASAD is former Associate Professor at the Department of Statistics, Christ University, Bangalore, India. She holds a Ph.D. degree in applying operations from Christ University, Bangalore, India. She has taught various topics in statistics, operations research, quantitative techniques, and data science to students of courses like chartered accountancy, company secretaryship, commerce, economics, management, among others. She also has been a resource person for many training programs and given guest/keynote lectures at several conferences and seminars. She has conducted workshops in SPSS, R, and EXCEL and has a working knowledge of MATLAB, LINGO, TABLEAU, and PYTHON. An awardee of the Statistical Capacity Building award by the World Bank, Dr. Prasad was featured in Asia Research news for her work in statistics. She has around 20 research publications to her name and around 350 articles/short stories published in various newspapers and magazines.
