This book is divided into 5 chapters with the bases for selecting the experimental methodology of the research work. The first chapter outlines the quantitative and qualitative research paradigms; it also describes research papers according to the research subject. Chapters 2 and 3 detail the main quantitative and qualitative research designs, respectively. The basic guidelines for each design are provided to develop the experimental strategy and to collect data to answer the research question. Chapter 4 provides the basic guidelines for writing the experimental methodology. And the last chapter presents the elements considered to organize and present the variables, which is useful at the time of writing the research report.
