About the author
Er studierte Agrarwissenschaften an der Universität von Chile. Im Jahr 1981 erwarb er einen MS an der Utah State University, 1986 einen PhD an der Purdue University, beide in Entomologie. Seit 1993 ist er ordentlicher Professor. Autor von ¿200 wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten; hat viele Vorträge auf Konferenzen über Biologie und Management von Pflanzenschädlingen gehalten. Autor mehrerer Bücher in seinem Fachgebiet.
