DMN is the standard for model-based decision automation. Using standardized diagrams and tables together with the Low-Code expression language FEEL, DMN empowers both business and technical users to decompose complex decision logic into transparent and easily maintained models that can be instantly deployed as executable REST services. Moreover, it is a vendor-neutral standard maintained by the Object Management Group, so models behave the same in any compliant tool.

Using his well-known Method and Style¿ approach, he is the leading provider of BPMN, DMN, and Low-Code Business Automation training and certification worldwide through his website methodandstyle.com, with well over 4000 students trained. He also provides mentoring and consulting engagements with clients getting started with DMN and Low-Code Business Automation projects.He is also a prolific author on process and decision modeling. His book BPMN Method and Style 2nd edition, with translations in German, Japanese, and Spanish, is considered the definitive standard on BPMN. His more recent BPMN Quick and Easy is a streamlined guide to process modeling aimed at business users. His book CMMN Method and Style applies a similar Method and Style approach to the case modeling standard. Bruce Silver served on the BPMN 2.0 task force in OMG and currently serves on the DMN Revision Task Force. He was also a founder of the DMN TCK working group.
