Public management in criminal policy for children and adolescents - Penal system for adolescents. DE

The criminal policy for juvenile offenders in Colombia must be approached from a legal and social perspective, due to the high rates of juvenile offenders who engage in criminal behaviour; that is why it is of utmost importance to study it and the repercussions it generates for the solution of the contingencies faced by juvenile offenders in the country, with a view to building a penal system with guarantees, which has an impact on the social context and on the personality of the individual offender, taking into account that psychologically adolescents have a totally different way of thinking and seeing their environment to that of an adult.
