Description

The origin of the University, in some cases, is traced only in the Western vision (Europe), ignoring and forgetting the Eastern vision (Asia) that commonly has a more advanced and structured development that has allowed an advance foreign to the Western world. It is important to dispel the idea that the university has its beginning in the Western world, taking as a referential model the Platonic Academy and/or the University of Bologna in Italy in the 11th century A.D. In fact, in China, India and in the Arab world, the university dates back to a period before the Platonic Academy. For this reason, a historical account will be given of the process that the different schools and universities went through with regard to the teaching of the humanities and other sciences.
