The study of the method of auditory-verbal therapy has worldwide application in the improvement of the processes of language and oral communication; it is estimated that currently 360 million people have a hearing loss, including 32 million children. In many countries, it has established itself as a means or basic learning resource for many professionals such as therapists, special education teachers and people who work in the great world of disability.The problem of the auditory deficit is due to the fact that currently in Ecuador there should be a guide that determines auditory-verbal therapy as a specialised therapeutic method for the development of the child in the acquisition of language, which is the fundamental reason for this research work.

Zuleika Quiñonez Villamar, Bachelor in Speech Therapy, graduated from the University of Guayaquil, with studies in: 1st International Speech and Language Congress, Practical Course in Neuro-Rehabilitation of Oral Motor Disorders, work experience at the Institute of Neurosciences in the area of Outpatient.
