"The Adventures of Faraday Fox" is an incredible journey of a brave red fox as he travels across the United States of America, from Dahlonega, Georgia, to Port Orchard, Washington. Travis E. Short is the author of several books and is the grandfather of XX grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His story of Faraday Fox grew from a six-year-old great-granddaughter's reaction to seeing a painting of a red fox, which she and her grandmother named Faraday. He and Shirley Adams, creator of Faraday and whose paintings illustrate his travels in this story, reside in Dahlonega, Georgia.
