About the author
Daniela V. Dimitrova is a University Professor in the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication at Iowa State University and Editor-in-Chief of Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, the flagship journal of AEJMC. An established media scholar, Dimitrova has published extensively in the areas of global journalism and political communication and lectured at leading universities around the world. She is the recipient of multiple recognitions, including AEJMC Senior Scholar, Center for Advanced Studies (CAS) Visiting Fellow, University of Munich (LMU),Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the American University in Cairo (AUC), Lazarsfeld Professor and Fulbright-University of Vienna Visiting Professor of Social Sciences.
