My dream was to write my own, and ultimately take it to film. My ideas started with bedtime stories for my two children, and after some time, I have finally developed them into my first novel. As a young teenager, I watched my father sacrifice so much for our family as he struggled through a war with cancer. I wanted to represent those same qualities in my writing, and he quickly became the inspiration for my lead character, fighting in his own war.
