From 2011 to 2014 the Australian Generations Oral History Project recorded 300 interviews with Australians born between 1920 and 1989. With three chapters considering oral history innovations, and four chapters demonstrating how oral history interviews can be used as rich evidence for historical research, historians, archivists, and radio producers reflect on the practice of oral history in a digital age and on how oral history interviews can illuminate social and cultural history. This book was originally published as a special issue of
