About the author
Mark Abrahamson is Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Connecticut, USA. His former positions include Executive Director of the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research; Program Director at the National Science Foundation; and Professor of Sociology at Syracuse University, USA.
