Informationen zum Autor Jan Winiecki is Professor of Economics at the European University-Viadrina, Germany, and Vice-President of the Polish Society of Market Economists. A former member of Walesa's political advisory committee, he was the founder and first president of the free market think-tank Adam Smith Research Center, and Executive Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He has three books published by Routledge, most recently as the co-editor, with A. Kondratowicz, of The Macroeconomics of Transition: Developments in East-Central Europe (1993).
