About the author

Ann-Katrin Gill is Akademische Assistentin at the Ägyptologisches Institut/Ägyptisches Museum at the Georg Steindorff-Universität Leipzig. She holds a PhD from the University of Oxford.

Mark Smith is Emeritus Lady Wallis Budge Fellow in Egyptology at University College, Oxford.
