About the author

Rajendra K. Pandey is Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, India. His tryst with the subject of disaster management began with his doctorate on 'Disaster Management in India: A Case Study of Flood Control in Delhi', University of Delhi. He has worked on many research projects and publications on its various dimensions of the subject.
