Informationen zum Autor Virginia Smith Harvey is professor and director of the school psychology program at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Before becoming a university professor, she was a practicing school psychologist for 18 years and supervised school psychologists and interns throughout those years. During her 15 years as a professor, she has supervised practicum, intern, and postgraduate students. In addition to numerous articles and book chapters, she is coauthor of Effective Supervision in School Psychology (2000, with J. A. Struzziero) and Fostering Independent Learning: Practical Strategies to Promote Student Success (2007, with L. A. Chickie-Wolfe). Harvey is currently chair of the ethics committee of the New Hampshire Association of School Psychologists and serves on the Standards Revision Writing Group of the National Association of School Psychologists.
