Poetry for Teachers - By a Teacher

Poetry can be expressed in a variety of ways. You notice it right away in a variety of music genres. For the high-achieving student or troubled student, poetry can bring the best features in a child. About the author

Brian Taylor has great memories of doing poetry recitals with his third grade students at Garrison Elementary School. These poetry recitals gave Brian the inspiration to write poems that teachers can relate to in their own experiences at their schools and classrooms. Brian has been an elementary school teacher in the Oceanside UNIFIED School District for 30 years. He lives in Oceanside, CA.
