The scientific work presents the results of long-term studies on optimization of conditions of cryopreservation of seed material of endemic plant species of Central Kazakhstan. The data on the influence of various factors on the preservation of seed viability, namely the method of freezing, thawing conditions, used containers, cryoprotectors and their combinations are given. The monograph will be of interest to specialists in ecology, botany, forestry, teachers and students of biological faculties (specialties of biology, ecology, biotechnology). The work was carried out under the grant project of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Study of the current state of populations of endemic plants of Northern and Central Kazakhstan and the development of methods for the conservation of genetic material" (2015-2017).
