One of the current problems of the international system that has been forged since antiquity is cyberterrorism, understood as the method by which fear is instilled both in the civilian population and in state institutions and public forces. In recent years, the modus operandi of armed groups such as the Islamic State has been transformed thanks to the new tools that globalization has generated in the environment, such as technology and the media, turning them into facilitating channels for the spread of terror, threatening the tranquility of the world and revealing new scenarios that perhaps the international society is not prepared to combat. The substantial fact of this project is to identify in a concise manner how the United States has responded to terrorist actions, specifically those of the Islamic State group disseminated through different media and social networks, which generate cyberwar scenarios on a global scale where the measures implemented by this government directly affect the security of the State and the relevance and evolution of the terrorist group at a global level.
