Tutoring is an Institutional strategy that Higher Education Institutions (HEI) have promoted through the Tutoring Program in the last two decades, in order to promote the integral formation of the student and assist in academic processes, and reduce dropout, dropout and failure. One of the main purposes is to enhance the academic activities of the students and to make this a fundamental concern in the Institutional development. In this sense, this document has the purpose of showing the advances that the Tutorial Program has had in its implementation in the IISUABJO, highlighting the background of the implementation of the Program and the use of technology in the tutorial action for its transformation.

Laura Irene Gaytan Bohorquez é professora investigadora no Instituto de Investigação Sociológica da Universidade Autónoma "Benito Juárez" de Oaxaca. Tem um mestrado em Planeamento do Desenvolvimento Regional pelo Instituto Tecnológico de Oaxaca (ITO) e um doutoramento em Ciências Empresariais e Administração Pública pela FCA-UABJ.
