The present work aims to "analyze the influence of sustainable resource management in the production of the shrimp industry in Machala canton, period 2015-2017" as a way to reduce environmental pollution caused by the use of chemicals in shrimp production. Descriptive statistics were used to show the information resulting from the surveys conducted to 10 production companies that use sustainable resources, obtaining as a result the effects of the use of such resources in the production processes, thus complying with the provisions of the Organic Environmental Code, in the National Development Plan 2017-2021 All a life-Objective 3 and, achieving the recognition "Green Dot" for good environmental practices granted by the Ministry of Environment.
