About the author

Prof. Viola Vambol began research in the Waste Management and Environmental Engineering field in 1999, and since 2001 has been actively involved in teaching activities. She has obtained the Doctor of Science in Environmental Safety in 2016. She received the conferment diploma of academic degree Professor (Full) in Occupational Safety, Health, Technogenic, Environmental Safety in 2018. She was a member of 8 research projects & the head of a research project. For all the scientific and pedagogical experience, she prepared more than 50 masters who received a diploma with honors, published more than 190 scientific and educational-methodical works, including 7 monographs and 9 patents.Dr. Prof. Sergij Vambol was educated as a Mechanical Engineer in 1994. He has obtained the Doctor of Science in Environmental Safety in 2014. He received the conferment diploma of academic degree Professor (Full) in Applied Mechanics in 2015. Since 2004, he has been working on research and development programs in Environmental Engineering, and he has been involved in teaching to masters and graduate students. He was the head of 10 scientific research projects in this field. He led four graduate students and doctoral students on various topics of Environmental Engineering. For all the scientific experience, he published over 200 scientific and educational works, including 10 monographs & 17 patents.Dr. Nadeem A Khan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in
the Department of Civil Engineering at King Khalid University, Abha,
Saudi Arabia. He worked at Mewat Engineering College as an Assistant
Professor from August 1, 2012, to February 23, 2022. He has submitted
his Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He also acted as
Academic Coordinator of the Civil Engineering department from 2014
to 2017. He is an editorial board member of Nature Journal - Scientific
Reports (IF=4.3) and a special issue editor of Springer Journal on Discover
Water. His recent accomplishments included 15 Coursera course
completion certificates. LWT India and GECL awarded them the Best
Young Scientist Award (Male) for their Scientific contribution to Environmental Engineering.
He has also served as an external examiner and paper setter at Integral University, Lucknow,
and Dehradun Technical University since 2013. Has got his M. Tech. (Civil Engineering) in
2011, and received Honors in Environmental Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.
Mr. Khan was associated with the Ministry of Environment and Forest for two years as
a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in 2009-11 and also worked with UNICEF as a Research
Assistant (RA) on the topic ofGIS mapping andWater quality parameter estimation, including
monitoring of the Agra Region for six months in 2012. He has professional experience at DLFLaing’s
Rourke India Ltd as a Construction Engineer on an SEZ project in Gurgaon from
2008 to 2009. He qualified for the GATE examinations in 2010. His industry activity areas
were post-contract works, reconciliation, planning, and budgeting. His one chapter about
SBR wastewater treatment technology was recently published in Lenin Publication. He has
attended several conferences, workshops, seminars, and research projects, and has engaged
in various research endeavors. He has published 03 Books with International Publishers, 55
papers in SCI, and 15 in National journals. He has also published more than 10 patents in
Civil Engineering and water treatment. He is also active in social welfare activities. He is the
Joint Secretary of the Environmental Awareness Society, Environsense, which organizes over
25 events.Nastaran Mozaffari has the master’s degree in environmental engineering from the Science and Research Branch, I. Azad University of Tehran, Iran. Her fields of work and study are the use of nanotechnology in water, air, and soil treatments, and totally environmentally interdisciplinary areas related to material science & environmental science and engineering. She is currently working as a research assistant at the Science and Research Branch, I. Azad University of Tehran as well as an editorial board member of the environmental part of the journal of “Labour Protection Problems in Ukraine “in Kyiv, Ukraine. Now, she has several patents and research articles published in peer-reviewed journals.Niloofar Mozaffari is currently a research assistant at Science & Research Branch, I. Azad University, Tehran, Iran; and an editorial board member of the environmental part of the scientific journal “Labour Protection Problems in Ukraine” in Kyiv, Ukraine. Department of Chemical Engineering, Universite Laval, Quebec, QC G1V 0A6, Canada. She is working on environmentally interdisciplinary areas like material science in water and air remediation. Currently, she has several research articles published in peer-reviewed journals and patents.
