About the author
Dennis Ebersole is Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Northampton Community College where he has taught since 1971. His interests include improving mathematics education in grades K¿12. Since 1989 he has administered several grant-funded programs for teachers of mathematics to strengthen their mathematical and pedagogical knowledge and skills. In addition to A COMPANION TO CALCULUS, he has authored or coauthored five other mathematics texts. He is a contributing writer for the revision of "Mathematics Standards Before Calculus" in BEYOND CROSSROADS, published by the American Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges.
