When a monarch dies and has a son, regardless of his age, he succeeds his father throughout history. It is the legal right of the king apparent to be crowned. As the Pere's oldest son, Prince Ebida-owei is the heir apparent to the throne. However, there are intrigues surrounding the coronation of a Pere in a polygamous family. About the author

The Author, Theophilus Miebi Gbigbi (PhD) is an indigene of Bomadi Town in Delta State and Aleibiri Town in Bayelsa State of Nigeria. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Delta State University Abraka. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
