Paintings of international renown at the Rosengart Collection in Lucerne are considered from two different perspectives. The art dealer and museum founder, Angela Rosengart, the Grande Dame of the Swiss museum landscape, relates her personal experiences and encounters with artists and the purchasing of works with a light touch. The former curator and holder of a doctorate in art history Martina Kral comments in a comprehensible way on the artworks selected for and reproduced in the book. As a visual guide and seducer, the book inspires a desire to make discoveries during one's next museum visit.
