Analysis of PCP in Red Ceramics Organisations - Multi-case study

This work studied how production planning and control is carried out in red ceramics organisations, seeking to identify, describe and analyse the type of production system and the production planning and control methods and techniques adopted by these organisations. The ceramics industries are significant for Rondônia, thanks to their importance in the state's economic development. This research is considered to be applied in nature and descriptive in classification. The approach used was qualitative and quantitative. Data was collected using a questionnaire/semi-structured interview. The research was carried out in red ceramics companies in the cities of Cacoal/RO and Pimenta Bueno/RO.

Graduated in Production Engineering (UNIR), MBA in Project Management (FGV). Currently a substitute lecturer at the Federal University of Rondônia - UNIR, in the Production Engineering department.
