Then, Chapter 4 introduces the functions, and Chapter 5 describes the sequences and summations. In Chapter 6, the number theory and matrices are presented. Then, Chapter 7 introduces mathematical induction. Chapter 8 describes the recursive definitions and algorithms, and in Chapter 9, the relations are introduced. Finally, Chapter 10 introduces the graphs.The textbook is mainly aimed at engineering and computer science undergraduate first-year students as an introductory textbook.

About the author

Hiqmet Kamberaj is a Professor at International Balkan University, Skopje, North Macedonia. Hiqmet completed his PhD (in Computational Physics) in 2005 from Manchester Metropolitan University. Hiqmet has published more than 60 articles and book chapters in reputed journals.
