Due to the huge increase in electricity consumption in recent times, various technologies have emerged to increase the efficiency of the electricity supplied. The main objective of energy efficiency goes far beyond a reduction in financial consumption, but also to reduce the overload on electricity generating plants. Increasing energy efficiency can be done in a variety of ways. This study looked at different light bulb technologies in order to prove that LED bulbs are more efficient and more economical than other bulbs on the market. After analysing the data, it was proven that there are economic and lighting advantages to using LED luminaires. As a result of the study carried out in a classroom, its advantages allow it to be carried out on a large scale, and the financial return will be guaranteed.
