The book is an introduction to political science, which is the study of political phenomena. The book is not only intended for political science students and academics, but for all citizens. "Faire de la science politique" has three major objectives. Firstly, political science provides us with a scientific knowledge of the subject in the ordinary sense, based on an effort to objectify it. Secondly, political science gives us historical awareness. I call consciousness the fact of being preoccupied with the following questions: what am I doing in this world? What is the meaning of my life in this world? And what's going to happen? Finally, political science allows us to have some ideas about concrete political practice, the practice of actors, without being a practitioner; in other words, to make a political judgment or to be a judge of politics.

L'autore è un accademico, avvocato e promotore dei diritti umani. Ha conseguito il Master in Giurisprudenza. Ha già pubblicato diverse opere, tra cui "Sois moi ou le néant", "Suicide ou accident", "L'heure est au féminisme", "L'encadrement juridique des relations diplomatiques et consulaires" e "Droit des personnes et de la famille".
