"The End of the I" takes the reader on a short journey through the fundamental theorems of quantum mechanics. At the intersection of science and philosophy, the materialist paradigm is challenged. The content is based on the author's reception of work by physicists David Bohm and Amit Goswami, as well as the philosophy of Jiddu Krishnamurti. She argues that ego-consciousness is only a residual of the processing of sensory impressions and sketches a post-materialist conception of man for the 21st century that forgoes the ego conception and the notion of an unmoved mover.
