About the author

Robert Ezekial Cohen, PhD (born September 11, 1944) is an American psychologist and professor emeritus of psychology at Mesa Community College. His private practice largely focuses on repairing the trust broken between couples. His trade-marked "Six Steps To Getting It Back On" platform has helped thousands. He is a published author, predominantly teaching how counseling can re-invigorate relationships that are seemingly doomed through trust-building exercises performed in the privacy of one's home. His work has had a profound influence on social science, identifying traits and events in marriages that were at one point believed to be insurmountable. He and his wife, Rebekah Falkenstein, M.D., co-founded the Keep-It-Real Center For Relationships, and believe that a long-lasting relationship is essential for many reasons, all of which are discussed in this book. They have also developed the "NowYourTurn" app allowing professionals to work on marriages at their own pace and in accordance with their busy work schedules. Rebekah Falkenstein, M.D. (born April 1, 1966) is a Harvard graduate and former trauma surgeon at Stanford Healthcare in Stanford, CA. In 1993 she left her thriving practice following the dissolution of her first marriage and began to study the psychology of relationships. She met her husband in 1991 and began her research on why some marriages succeed and others fail. She is a world-renowned lecturer and has spoken to wide audiences in Geneva, Paris, Poland, Johannesburg, Malawi, Burundi and Somalia on common themes, hazards and tools related to building and maintaining long-standing relationships. Her biography, "From Trauma To Terrific", explores her strenuous journey from sadness to the joy she experiences today. In 2003, along with her husband, she co-founded the Keep-It-Real Center For Relationships in Mesa, Arizona where she works as a counselor and Chief Executive Officer. Her recent work - "Using Zoom To Stay

In Love", was among the top books listed on "The Knot" during covid. She continues to provide counseling at The Center and is also a full-time mother.
