The square is the meeting place of a city, where human exchanges take place, whether cultural, political, religious or economic, where citizens meet to make their social relations. The square is not just any place, it has specific laws that during history have been approached in different ways by different cultures. This book deals with the historical evolution of the square, as well as the physical-spatial analysis of this urban place par excellence. About the author
Guadalupe Tamayo. Geboren in Caracas am 7. Mai 1953. Sie hat ihr Tätigkeitsfeld zwischen Lehre und architektonischer Gestaltung entwickelt. Schon in jungen Jahren unterrichtete sie Architekturdesign und reichte 2013 ihre Doktorarbeit in Architektur an der Universidad Central de Venezuela zum Thema ein: Liturgische Architektur.
