About the author










Stuart Hillard, a best-selling author and industry icon, has over 25 years of experience designing quilts and sewing projects. His eclectic work combines traditional quilt-making with modern, accessible techniques. A presenter on Sewing Street TV and Patron of the Quilters' Guild of the British Isles, Stuart also designs fabrics for Lewis & Irene and yarns for Stylecraft Yarns. His books include Bags for Life, Sew Fabulous, amongst more. Outside of sewing, Stuart enjoys cooking and helping run the family farm in North Yorkshire with his husband, Charlie.
