This research is aimed at identifying the conditions of access and permanence in a context of confinement and how these conditions affect the fulfilment of the Progressive Sentence Regime. Talking about situations in a context of imprisonment can refer directly to the struggle for the defence of the human rights of persons deprived of their liberty, carried out within the framework of a strategy in which the Inter-American system for the protection of human rights is involved.
