Robust optimisation with uncertainty in future electricity demand - An approach with probabilistic scenarios for electricity demand and its robust solution

This paper presents a proposal for robust optimisation modelling applied to the uncertain problem of contracted active power demand faced by high-voltage consumers charged under the conventional system, who can establish demand contracts of between 30 and 300 kW, located in the Manaus Industrial Pole - PIM/AM.

I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Amazonas, a Master's in Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics and a Specialisation in Electrical Engineering. I currently work as a Technical Consultant in the area of Automation and Energy Efficiency at SENAI/ AM, also providing technical services to the Manaus Industrial Centre.
