Wouldn't it be fun to start a food fight? What would happen if I shouted in the library?... And do boogers taste like sugar?
Self-control can be tricky, particularly for curious kids who just want to explore. But it's important to understand the power and consequences of our actions, lest they get us, or others, into trouble. Full of rhyme, wit, and whimsy, this charming book teaches kids about self-control-and when it's okay to let go.

About the author

Melissa Turnbull was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and graduated with a degree in finance. Wanting to escape the cold, snowy winters, Melissa and her husband decided to relocate to North Carolina, where they welcomed their first child. From the beginning, one of Melissa's favorite activities to do with her son was read to him. This time spent together sparked her passion for children's literature. Watching her children grow and learn to navigate their world inspired her to write her own children's story. Melissa currently lives in Marvin, North Carolina with her husband, two children and rescue pups. She hopes to one day read this story to her grandchildren and that they will share it with generations to come.
