The history of the kindergarten goes back to 1837, the founder of the kindergarten is the well-known German pedagogue - Friedrich Froebel. It was he who called his institution for children in the German city of Bad Blankenburg "kindergarten", and this term was generally accepted throughout the world. The question arises: Why is the institution called "kindergarten"? According to one of the assumptions, F. Frebel considered children to be "God's crops", that is, they are a garden of plants that need care and maintenance. Another theory is that a German pedagogue opened "the first childcare facility" in a former hotel in Sorbix called "Palace Garden".
