Description

Central Anatolia (Iç Anadolu Bölgesi) is one of the seven geographical regions of Turkey, extending from Sivas in the east to Eskisehir in the west and from Çankiri in the north to Karaman in the south. The region has a rich history of cultural diversity, with people of various cultures and a wide range of languages shaping its identity. However, this diversity is currently threatened, and it is only in recent years that research has begun to focus on the description and documentation of this heritage. This volume combines linguistic descriptions, ethnographic studies, and sociolinguistic research of ethnolinguistic communities residing in Central Anatolia.
